The 49th Official U.S. Transition Initiative
Bad economy? Dwindling oil? Erratic weather? Melting icecaps? The future doesn’t look bright to many of us. It seems likely that crisis will pile on crisis and our lives and our beautiful planet could become mired in a “Long Emergency” or a new “Dark Age.” However, there are growing numbers of people who believe that “with great crisis comes great opportunity.”
The Transition Movement believes we can build stronger local communities, happier families, and more sustainable lifestyles by working together, learning new “basic skills,” and sharing ideas. Please come join the conversation, our groups, and events. (You will need to Sign In to this page to see some types of information.)
